VOTIVE MEDAL OF H.R.H. PRINCESS ISABELLE BOURBON DE BOURBON
Princess Isabelle Ferdinande Bourbon de Bourbon was the niece of King Ferdinand VII and was Infante of Spain. Her secret marriage to a Polish count caused scandal at the time. She lived in Brussels and was appointed as first lady of honor at the Royal Court when King Leopold I became widow in 1850. She offered this medal to the Virgin Mary as well as this the gold necklace with a cross decorated with turquoise for the parish.
